Situated in the Middle East, Dubai is part of the wider Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Though naucent, the region’s VC community has been growing over the last 10 years, during which it’s seen several mega funding deals and startup exits.
The Center of VC Activity
In 2021, startups in the UAE contributed to 26% of all VC deals in MENA, accounting for 45% of total funds raised by startups in the region.
